So my January pick - Almost Like Being in Love - was a great choice.
Already reading my February pick - Soulless by Gail Carriger - another great pick by me, as I'm loving it. Though bearing in mind that these are books that people would take to a desert island over all the other books in their collection I've got a pretty good cross-section to choose from.
DIK Book List
Having made such a good start with my first two picks I'm kind of stumped as to which book to pick next.
Obviously my own six books are out and I'm trying to avoid books I've already read. And I'm also trying to pick books from different DIK ladies.
For March I'm quite drawn to The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie, even though it's a dreaded historical.
That still leaves me nine books to go. I have The Vampire Shrink on my TBR pile so that's definitely going to be one of them. And after reading Pride and Prejudice last year I also bought the rest of Jane Austen's novels so Persuasion will be one of my other choices (probably).
So that then leaves seven or eight books. Does anyone have any MUST reads from the list. I realize that some of you may be biased. :)

I've bookmarked that list for reference! Okay, my recs from that list:
Anything by Josh Lanyon.
Tigers and Devils by Sean Kennedy - Read earlier this year, and really liked the POV and Australian setting.
Any Linda Howard on the list - From what I see, they're her older books, which are far better than her recent ones, IMO.
The Secret by Julie Garwood - Heh. Couldn't resist. Probably really *not* your thing, but I love Julie Garwood's historicals.
Young Miles by Lois McMaster Bujold - I adore Bujold. Nuff said.
Skipping the usual UF suspects Ilona Andrews, Nalini Singh, Meljean Brook, Kelley Armstrong etc etc as I'm assuming you've read them already...
Li- yes I've read most of the UF on the list. :) But at least this gets me reading something new. I've made a note of your recs. :) I think I'm going to finish off the Adrien English series as part of the challenge, and may try and squeeze in Young Miles as I'm also a huge Bujold fan. :)
I agree with Li about Josh Lanyon and Tigers and Devils. I just love Simon's voice. Ditto wrt Young Miles. I listened to the audiobook of the first book in the omnibus, and Miles is such a great character. I have the next story on my ereader.
You've read the PsyCop series by Jordan Castillo Price? Soulless by Gail Carriger was lots of fun.
Of course, I'd recommend anything on my DIK list. < g > My m/m pick, Islands by Samantha Kane is wonderful. And, Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler is so beautifully written and thought provoking.
Renee - I think that settles it - Tigers and Devils has to be one of the books.
I've got the first two of the Psycop books, I treated myself to the paperback after I read Hemovore. And I'm pretty sure I have Islands by Samantha Kane.
I'm trying to be very diplomatic and pick books from everyone's lists. :)
